Privacy Policy

This policy explains how The Intelligent Workforce ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use our website chat service (the "Service"), including our website, app, and the chat widget our customers place on their websites.

Information we collect

• Account holders: name, email address, company name, password (stored encrypted by our sign-in provider), profile photo if you upload one, and your team role.
• Website visitors using a chat widget: the messages you type, and your name and email only if you choose to share them. A random chat ID is stored in your browser so your conversation continues across pages.
• Devices: if you turn on notifications, a device token so we can send alerts.
• Billing: seat count and subscription status. Card details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.

We collect only what is needed to run the Service. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers and we do not sell or rent personal information.

How we use it

• To provide the Service: deliver chats, sign you in, send account emails and notifications.
• To bill for subscriptions.
• To keep the Service secure and fix problems.
• To meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to operate the Service: hosting and database (Lovable Cloud), push notifications (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging), email delivery, optional Google sign-in, and payments (Stripe). They may only use the data to provide services to us. We may disclose information if required by law.

Our customers' visitors

When you chat on a business's website, that business controls your conversation data and we process it on their behalf. Contact that business for requests about your chat; we will help them respond.

How long we keep it

We keep account and chat data while the account is active. When an account is closed we delete or anonymize it within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states, or the EU/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Email us to make a request; we will not discriminate against you for using these rights. We respond within the time the law requires.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to each customer company, and passwords are never stored in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users of a breach as required by law.

Changes

We will post updates here and change the date above. Material changes will be emailed to account holders.
